Font Design

As discussed in About Us, KITS is a platform of different
dimensions of IT skills. One of them is FONT DESIGNING or Typeface Designing.

With the coming of computers, especially those on artists' desktops,
type design eventually became a subdivision of computer graphics, employing a
drafting program of some sort. Each character design can be traced by a stylus
on a digitizing board, or modified from a scanned drawing of somewhat smaller
size than that once used for the pantograph, or composed entirely within the
computer graphics program itself. Each character is then made into a digitized
form to be reconstructed within the graphics display program of a display
screen or printer.

Other than commercial jobs, KITS has designed a special Font,
KELLY TOLONG, for the Tolong Siki script of Kurukh language. This script was
developed by a group of professionals headed by Dr Narayan Oraon. Before this
Kurukh was only a dialect, not a language. KITS partnered with the major role
in this aboriginal evolution project with making the script available in
Digital Form to use with computers. Before KELLY TOLONG, the books, leaflets, documents,
etc. were being printed after hard work of hand written projects. After this
FREE GIFT (KELLY TOLONG) by KITS, now all the books and docs are prepared in
computers and printed through the latest printing technology. And finally the
GREAT GOOD NEWS is this that Kurukh with Tolong Siki and KELLY TOLONG font has
been accepted and approved by the government.
